DISCUSSION SERIES
"Hear me out"
Typically, when discussing 'hot' issues, conversations become emotionally-charged and argumentative, with neither party listening to one another. In hopes of creating a culture around listening, we will be hosting a three-part discussion series with varied focus: immigration, reproductive rights, and the tension between the economy and the environment. Each discussion will feature several panelists, all of whom possess differing points of view on the aforementioned issues. The discussion's central intention will be to inform the audience of the array of opinions present on these issues, so that they themselves can learn more about the issue and truly understand where the panelist's views come from.

All events are at The CENTER (3510 N. Vancouver Avenue, Portland, OR), beginning at 6:30
April 24: Reproductive Rights
April 27: Immigration
May 9: The Economy and the Environment
